Australia is a nation of sporting people, whether team players, fanatical fans, or armchair followers. The very mention of the word “sport” seems to bring on bursts of enthusiasm for whatever the preferred game is. Mention the word “footy” and you will soon know who the best team in the world is according to the person you say it to. Sports are a great way to get the benefits of exercise, keeping weight down, toning up and generally keeping healthy. Learning how to work as a team is always a good thing, as there are many areas in life where this can be applied. However there are problems that come with outdoor sports as in weather problems. Many a good game has been brought to a halt by a sudden downpour, especially when accompanied by lightning. High temperatures can also be quite draining on players. This being the case, we are more likely to be at each practise session and game.

However popular our cricket is though, it is still subject to the same weather problems as our other outdoor sports. Indoor cricket is A way of enjoying the game, with all the advantages of protected and consistent conditions with weatherproof playing areas. This game has also become hugely popular and more people are becoming converts as they realize the benefits it has. With all the necessary equipment provided, there is no need to be worried about buying or bringing your own. This in itself is a big plus. Making new friends and having fun is what it’s all about.
