Indoor Soccer is one of the most popular games played around the world. This fast paced sport is ideal for those who want to increase their fitness level, coordination, balance and agility in a friendly and social environment.
'The World Game' has been tweaked, manipulated and re-invented so that it can be played on a single indoor court. The end result is an exciting, fast-paced version of soccer, with more regular scoring and plenty of opportunity for players to show off some fancy footwork.
If you've never seen this version of soccer before, the basics are:
- 4 players per team, including keeper (up to 3 subs may also be used in any one game)
- No slide tackles and no tackling from behind
- As with our other sports, the netting surrounding the court means there is no 'out-of-bounds', giving players a great workout as play never stops
- Each keeper has a 'goal-circle' surrounding his goal which only he may enter. All other players, offensive and defensive, must remain outside this goal-circle
- In mixed competitions, teams consist of 2 guys and 2 girls on court at a time and goalkeeping duties must be shared so that each sex keeps for 2 quarters
- Each match consists of 4 x 10 minute quarters
- Substitutions can be made only at quarter breaks or following a goal being scored

Salisbury Super Sports offers Indoor Soccer on Wednesday and Thursday nights. We offer multiple mens grades and an excellent mixed competition

Team Bond: A team bond equal to one match fee ($60) is payable with any team nomination. This bond is refundable at the end of the season, or can be rolled to the following season if your team renominates again. Teams who leave the competition before the end of the season, or who are removed by management due to unacceptable behaviour, will forfeit their bond.
Match Fees: Teams have two options for paying their match fees...
Pay per match: $60 per team per match. Full fees are always payable, even if a team is short of players.
Match fees pay per season: Teams have the option of paying for the entire season up-front rather than paying each week. Teams who choose this option receive a 10% discount on the total season's fees. For a soccer team, that's a saving of $90 - and you will never need to worry about collecting fees from your team mates!

2 weeks pre-season: New teams and teams not participating in the finals have the opportunity to play pre-season practice matches that assist management in accurately grading teams for the coming competition.
15 weeks of competition: All teams play a 15 week regular season.
2 week of finals: Teams who qualify after the 15 week regular season participate in the semi and preliminary finals over 2 weeks, still playing on their regular playing night.
Grand Finals: All Grand Finals of all sports and all nights are payed on the Saturday immediately following the last of the preliminary finals.
Please note: Each season commences immediately after the previous one. Teams not participating in the finals will instead play two weeks of pre-season games.
All players must compete in IDENTICAL team uniforms. The Uniform rule applies to tops only. Tops may be of any colour or style, provided ALL team mates wear exactly the same with the exception of the goalkeeper who is not subject to the uniform rules (unless of course he substitutes our to become a court player).
Teams must be in uniform by Round 2 of the regular competition.
